For the last two weeks I’ve spent a lot of time looking at this view – the only place flat and smooth enough I’ve been able to ride without risking hitting a bump and damaging my bone more. Its nice but doesnt change much (but still much better than a turbotrainer!).
One thing thats really impressed me is the amount of people doing outdoor sports here. Its crazy, in the evenings or at the weekend the whole place is swarming with people – from pro looking roadies to young families, old people, everyone. There are marked bike paths everywhere and then picnic spots, bbq areas, playgrounds, outdoor fitness areas all along the way, so something for everyone.
